Q. My Apple Mac webcam is not working

A. Sometimes the built in mac webcam does not work with the Left Hand World video applications using the standard settings.

In the application where you can see the video recorder (and no picture!) click the "Settings" button and it brings up this little window

Click the webcam image tab at the bottom, choose "USB Video Class Video" as your camera, then click "Close".

That should do it! 

In the web video chat application, click on "My Status" in the lower right hand corner. Right-click the camera icon that appears in the box, and select "Settings...". Select the web cam icon, and choose "USB Video Class Video".  Then click "Close".
