This is one of those 5 STAR Finds! It is an amazing (and free) web application that I recently ran across that I'm sure will become one of your most used productivity tools!

This is a conversion utility to convert files. Not all that exciting, you say? Well, just take a look at what its capable of doing. Oh, and did I mention....it's FREE!
The steps are easy:
1) Put in your email address
2) browse to the file to convert
3) choose the file format from the drop down list
4) then it will ask you to choose what format to convert the file to
The site uploads the files (up to 5 at a time) and very quickly converts it. It then sends you an email with a link to download the file(s). The site converts over 120 of the most common formats of documents, Audio, Video or Image files.
Want to convert mp3 to wav? Word doc to PDF? Quicktime MOV to Flash FLV? No problem. It handles that and very quickly as well.
You will literally receive an email in minutes after uploading your file, with your link to download your new file. Pretty cool, huh!
This pretty much replaces all the converter software I have cluttering up my hard drive and my desktop.
There are also three other very useful functions to this free service.
One is the ability to allow you to save any online videos to your computer and convert formats. For example, see a Youtube video and want to save a copy? You simply enter the URL of it. It will even convert it to another format if you wish.
The other tool is the "Send File" option.
You can use it to send very large files to another person. Files over about 1 MB often get blocked by email gateways so I end up uploading using FTP to one of my websites and sending people a link to them, or putting them on a CD or memory stick that I have to post (and usually not get back!).
It limits you up to 100MB but that is pretty large. The other person then gets a link to download the file for up to 7 days after you uploading it.
The last thing it does it conversion calculations (which you can often do in Google's search bar, but this has everything!) - like Acceleration, Torque, Cooking Units and even converting Roman Numerals like MCLVXX to 1165.

I live my life on the Web and am in contact with leading webmasters and marketers all round the world on a regular basis so I come across loads of really cool web sites and online tools that I try out and, if they really are good, I will share them with you.
They will nearly all be free but if I do come across things that I have paid for and think are exceptional value I will tell you about them and you can take your choice! I will try to get members an "insiders" deal on things whenever I can.
Not everything I include here will be for all members, buyt you can pick and choose the things that interest you.
Please leave comments on the posts I make telling whether you like what I am doing for you and maybe suggesting areas where you would like me to focus. You could also leave notes on any partucularly great site YOU come across that you want to share (but please do not use this indiscriminately or I will have to prune the comments!).
